My opinion - Greeks by themselve have done a lot to knock down the Byzantine Imperium - mostly by their dirty intrigues in favour of Muslims.
This is bullshit!
It all started on the fields of Manzikert in Armenia where nomads overwhelmed the imperial army!
Then we have to say biiiig "thanks" to our "fellow Christians" from barbaric Germany, France and England who were treating Greeks like shit when they captured Constantinople in 1204!!
Even barbaric Turks didn't treat the Capital of the Roman Empire as did the damned Crusaders!
