  1. Dear Kars, Here I am after a long time again. I was googling my name for a reason and found the site again and found your response. Anyway, I am sorry if I upset you with my previous email. That was not my intention. I just wanted to let you know that the Sermanoukian family does exist! And I can assure you it's not just me. There are plenty of Sermanoukian's in the USA, Canada, Argentina, Lebanon, Spain, Germany, Syria, and Turkey. There must be others too. So there you go . By the way, you're right about infant; it is the translation of Manouk. Newborn is translated as "Noradzin". Sorry about that. Have a great day
  2. Hello Kars, I guess my post comes too late. But I just wanted to say that my family name is Sermanoukian and there has been no typo. Ser IS a prefix. It means love in Armenian and Manouk means New born. Some people say Ser also means a title for people, like Sir. But I like the first translation .
