(Mount Auburn) Subject: FW: Need Your Help - this is crunch time. ADD Inc R. Vickie Alani AIA | Senior Associate Principal | 617.234.3207 210 Broadway Cambridge, MA 02139 | www.addinc.com Hi everyone, Earlier this week, many received an email with an MSNBC poll with regard to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. With the strength of the Turkish lobby, the poll indicates that 77% of people (who could that be?) don't think the genocide should be recognized. IT IS IMPERATIVE that we each take 3 minutes out of our day to try and honor our ancestors who were slaughtered by the Turks by emailing our politicians to stand up for that which is historically proven, not that which is dictated by money. Dr. Carolann Najarian was informed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi that Armenians must work hard to win on the genocide recognition issue because Turkey's opposition lobby is very strong (see Dr. Najarian's email below). Here's what we each need to do: 1. Go to <http://www.speaker.gov/> www.speaker.gov and in the right hand corner click on "contact us." Then simply fill out your name and information and you can cut and paste this message "Dear Speaker Pelosi, I support HR 106 which recognizes the Armenian Genocide. In addition, I support you in bringing HR 106 to a full vote of the House as the atrocities of 1915 should be called 'genocide.' Sincerely, __________" 2. Go to your Congressman's website and do the same thing. You can google your Congressman's name. For those who have Steve Rothman as a Congressman, his website is <http://www.rothman.house.gov/> www.rothman.house.gov and send hi m a similar email. 3. Once done, please pass on this information to everyone on your email list. According to Dr. Najarian, we only have a few days so we must act FAST. Please take a few minutes today and honor our "Medz Hayrigs" and "Medz Mayrigs" (that's Grandfathers and Grandmothers, for those "Honorary Armenians" to whom we've sent this email.) Thank you. Now, Just do it! Ani and David Kasparian

Lady-An
Это для "американцев". Нужно отправить сообщение Ненси Пилоси ,чтобы продолжала поддерживать резолюцию, а также найти сайт сенатора от своего штата и направить ему письмо с призывом поддержать эту резолюцию. И там дается ее сайт.

Против голосует 78 % За принятие пока 21% Вот результаты----------------------------------------------------- Live Vote Should the United States formally recognize the World War I-era killing of Armenians as genocide? * 1039603 responses Yes. Many scholars agree that the Ottoman Turks systematically killed up to 1.5 million Armenians. Other countries have recognized this as genocide. The U.S. should do the same. 21% No. Historians continue to debate whether the deaths were genocide. Besides, Turkey is too important an ally to alienate when the U.S. has troops in the Middle East. 78% I'm not sure. 1% Not a scientific survey. Click to learn more.
