дорогие форумчане решил создать тему об американской industrial metal группе HANZEL und GRETYL.лично мне очень нравится эта группа.и хотелось бы узнать есть на нашем форуме поклонники этой группы.

brianMM, а ты слышал когда нибудь такую форму песнопения как - Кавали, уходящая корнями в мистическую традицию Суфизма?

Я например балдею от - Кавали, но только в исполнении покойного Нусрат Фатех Али Хана. У меня есть все записи покойного.

Хотя я и не по теме, где разговор идёт про - Hanzel Und Gretyl, но всё же послушай эту песню.

БИОГРАФИЯ

Hanzel Und Gretyl are an industrial group, formed by members Kaizer von Loopy and Vas Kallas in 1993. They are sometimes thought to be an German NDH band due to their use of German lyrics and German sounding pseudonyms, but are actually based in New York, to which founding members Kaizer von Loopy and Vas Kallas are native.

Musical career

In 1994, they recorded a demo titled "Kindermuzik", and were signed by Energy Records (NRG Records), a small record label based out of New York City, whom at the time also released the album "Suck Pump" by Bile. They recorded and released their first full-length album Ausgeflippt in 1995. In 1997, they released their second full-length album, Transmissions From Uranus, which subsequently lead the band to tour with Sister Machine Gun & Prong, and gave the band broader exposure.

In 1998, Energy Records went out of business, while Hanzel und Gretyl continued to promote their albums after the label's collapse. In 2002, the band signed to Metropolis Records and immediately began recording for their long-anticipated third album, Über Alles, which was released in 2003. Following the release of the album, the band toured for a few months, and returned to the studio to record a new album.

In September 2004, the band released their fourth album, Scheissmessiah!. In 2006, the band toured extensively upon the release of the Oktötenfest 2006, which was a teaser for their 5th full-length album, "Zwanzig Zwölf" released in February 2008. The album's central motif follows the Mayan theory that the world will end in 2012, and the band posits the subsequent extinction of the human race following one last rock concert.

Previous Musical Projects

Lead vocalist Vas Kallas was formerly known as Venus Penis Crusher in her earlier project, "Cycle Sluts From Hell". The band achieved a slight but ineffective popularity boost with a video broadcast on MTV's Beavis & Butthead for their song, "I Wish You were a Beer". The band released only one album, and disbanded shortly after its release.

Ausgeflippt as well as Transmissions from Uranus generally have more lyrics spoken in English than their latter albums. Additionally, Ausgeflippt incorporated some lyrics spoken in Italian as well, on the final track, "Ape' Mara".

Hanzel Und Gretyl's music overall is considered techno-industrial, due to a mix of electronic instrumentation combined with live studio instrumentation (i.e. electric guitar, acoustic drums, electric bass guitar). They have included distorted vocals along side with unprocessed vocals, which has been done by other bands in the genre such as KMFDM and Skinny Puppy.

Throughout their years, Hanzel Und Gretyl have performed with such bands as Prong, Marilyn Manson, Ministry, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Bella Morte, Rammstein and Cradle of Filth.

While the band dons various items of WWII Nazi adornment live, the band claims to not have any ties nor liking towards WWII National Socialism.
