ashwellted
It looks like I need to get my wisdom teeth out and although I can have it done under the normal local anesthetic you usually get it done under, I'm thinking about having it done under general in the hospital. I know it costs more, so thats not an issue. What I want to know is what do they actually do to you when they put you under general. I have never had an operation under general anesthetic so I really don't know. Do you have to fast beforehand? Do you have to have a catheter? Do you feel anything? Are you awake at all/will you remember it? Anything else I should know?
