The following is my response to an e-mail which I had received from a friend which appears at the end of my comments.

1. The hypocrisy of the clergy is nauseating to say the least. The damn church had been instrumental in the genocide of Armenians, when the patriarch of Constantinopole instead of advocating armed resistance by the Armenians, instructed them to submit their weapons to the Turkish authorities and even not save a knife at home.

2. The supreme catholicos of All Armenians in Ejmiatsin instead of welcoming Komitas in their midst, on the first day of his arrival from Berlin, asked him when was he going back to Polis. Komitas hurt by this comment, returned to Polis, only to be driven to exile, and when saved from death, _ thanks to his supporters in Europe _ , to be afflicted with PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder). This was a horrible faith which the clergy brought upon him and now the same hypocrites are shedding crocodile tears for Hrand Dink.

3. The church in Polis with her rich supporters just recently had called Dink a "trouble-maker" and now is holding services for him. Polsahays belonged to the conceited class of Armenians, who always thought that they were above the rest of Armenians in Turkey. This class of uneducated greedy Armenians, mostly of the merchant class were the darling of the clergy and the patriarch of Constantinopole.

4. Yervand Otian the great Turkish Armenian writer in his works, describes this pack of avaricious class very well indeed, exposing the true face of the clergy in the late 1800s and early 1900s; Hakob Paronian and Raphael Patkanian were two other prominent Turkish Armenian writers who did the same, the last two were also satirists. As expected none of these writers ejnoyed popularity during their lifetime, either by the church or the rich.

It is high time to tell all those unworthy church crowd "GO TO HELL !!!", before they do anymore harm to the innocent gullible Armenians in general and to their congregation in particular, to whom they constantly preach the "old testament" or put it aptly the "Torah".

It is NOT the job of Armenians to "reform" Turkey, as desirable as that may be. We are not their psychiatrists or their nannies".

In 1915 the Turkish government rounded up a string of Armenian intellectuals and murdered them. 92 years later the Turkish government rounded up a string of intellectuals and landed them in courts and jail sentences under its law #301. In the case of Hrant Dink it was the Turkish government's fierce persecution that led to his murder by Turks.

This is the same Turkish government of 1860, 1890, 1915 and 1923 that committed genocides and near-annihilated its Armenian population. This is the same Turkish government that imposes a hostile border blockade, a violation of international law and an act of war under international law, as well as a violation of the Kars Treaty of 1923. This is the same Turkish government that repeatedly refuses to normalize relations with Armenia. Its latest refusal to normalize relations came after Hrant Dink's death. A

normalization of relations between two countries is not dependent on a third country under international law. And this is the same Turkish government that announced its biggest plans ever to deny its crime of genocide and revealed its intentions to do so after Hrant Dink's death.

Again, it is not the job of Armenians to "reform Turkey, an idea that goes back two hundred years that never worked.

Thus, Turkish denialists are so crude, so unaware of proper standards of civilized behavior, that they don't even realize how truly stupid they sound when they make such excuses. There is something mentally and psychologically a bit messed up with such denialists.

No European, even of the worst sort, would make the kind of denials the Turks denialists make.

You know, you can give a Turkish denialist a shower, dress him up in a suit and tie, put Western style shoes on him, and spray him down with deodorant, but that doesn't make him a European.
