New issue 50 and 100 Drams were introduced 23rd November, 1998. New issue 20,000 and 1,000 Drams were introduced 1st March, 1999. A new 5,000 Dram note was issued 1st July 2000 and a new 500 Dram note on 1st September 2000. A new 50,000 Dram note will be issued in early 2001.
