This two-week course, run annually, provides participants with the intellectual framework for understanding the numerous, complex, and often emotional issues related to genocide. An examination of several major case studies of genocide provides the foundation for comparative analysis. Applicants must be current university students with three years or more of undergraduate experience. The deadline for the application is May 31st, 2005. The application packet includes 2 recommendation letters, academic resume, 1-2 page cover letter and $25 processing fee. The course will take place at the University of Toronto, Canada. Part-time scholarships are available. Tuition is $600 without university credits. Foreign students must arrange their own passports, visas and health insurance.
