Из сегодняшней (11.2.06) передовой статьи Turkish Daily News: "Turkey supports the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. As a country in the region Turkey in the past proposed a formula for a solution and suggested that the normalization of its relations with Armenia depends on Armenian troops' gradual withdrawal from the Azeri territory of Nagorno-Karabakh." По мнению миролюбивых турок, предусловием для восстановления мира должен быть "постепенный вывод армянских войск из азерской территории Нагорного Карабаха". Невозможно не восхититься проникновенностью ума турок! Как это армяне до сих пор не додумались до этого? Может у нас не хватает турецкого миролюбия и прагматичности? Многие из Диаспоры - также. Интересно, неужели кто-то из армян всё-таки поехал? В статье ничего об этом не говорится. Ну, а оркестровкой руководит, как всегда, небезызвестный дирижер Дж. Мак-Карти, известный тем, что превосходит самих турков в энтузиазме отрицания Геноцида. Speakers resort to documents Sunday, March 19, 2006 Armenian issue thoroughly discussed at conference ANKARA - Turkish Daily News Participants at a second Armenian conference that started at an Istanbul state university last week had an opportunity to discuss the alleged genocide of Armenians at the hands of the late Ottoman Empire on the basis of documentation. Before the opening of the event, which came six months after an earlier gathering convened under harsh criticism, Istanbul University Rector Mesut Parlak described the conference as the “most comprehensive of all meetings to date.” “No matter whether you agree or not with the participants here, their speeches are based on documents,” said renowned historian Professor Justin McCarthy, one of the speakers at the conference.
