Tavo Gets Second Place At The Score Baja 500

Last Saturday 5th of June the best racers of the Offroad met for the 42nd Anual SCORE Baja 500 race on which Tavo gave one of the best performances of his life and continues adding points to the Vildosola legacy.

Tavo had a tough race since he started in the 22nd position and had to take over 21 Trophys to finish in the second place. Tavo reaced speeds of up to 140 mph in the Ensenada mountains and was able to keep that pace for almost 10 hours straight.

In the end Tavo had a flat tire that costed him precious time but was able to finish the race only 7 minutes behind the first place which in the Offroad races is a small difference.

Tavo is already building his new trophy truck and is determined to be the first Mexican to win the BAJA 1000 in November 2010.

“We had a very good race, we kept on time and managed to pass Jesse Jones before the finish line. We started on the 22nd place and were able to come all the way to second only minutes from the first place, that made us really happy"
