Shenyаtsi
По просьбе Диаспоры вустваляю этот e-mail у нас на сайте. Распространите это как можно шире, может мы спасем жизнь нашему соотечественнику, семьянину с тремя детьми. "Three years ago, our church community sent an e-mail to many of you on behalf of Setrak Nalbandian, who was in need of a liver transplant. Today, once again, an urgent plea is being made on behalf of this 41 year old father of 7-year-old triplets, devoted husband and faithful parishioner of St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church, Watervliet, New York. His situation has become desperate and he is in immediate need of a liver. Unfortunately, Setrak was exposed to Hepatitis B at a young age and wasn't diagnosed until just four year ago when the disease manifested. Since that time, Setrak has already battled major complications from this disease which is destroying his liver. He cannot work and is still receiving high doses of antibiotics to keep the effects of the diseased liver temporarily in check; however, infections have set in more frequently and time is of the essence. Setrak is on a waiting list from the New England Medical Center Department of Transplant Surgery in Boston, Massachusetts to receive a liver transplant. But time is running out. HOW CAN YOU HELP? 1) Please pray. We ask that you keep Setrak and his family in your prayers. We pray that God be with him and his family during this challenging time in their lives. 2) Presently, people can personally direct organ donations. If you know of a situation that arises and there is someone who is able to donate their liver, please consider giving the gift of life to Setrak. We are sending this e-mail to all Armenians and non-Armenians alike to make them aware of Setrak's dire need of a liver transplant. 3) Please pass this e-mail along to everyone in your e-mail address book and personally inform everyone you know to help get the word out about organ donations and specifically Setrak Nalbandian's critical condition. Thank you, Fr. Stepanos Doudoukjian, Parish Priest St. Peter Armenian Church, Watervliet, NY"image.tiff
