FEDERER MASTERS 2004
Roger Federer ended the 2004 season in perfect fashion by defeating Lleyton Hewitt 6-3, 6-2 in the final of the Tennis Masters Cup in Houston. The Swiss star finished the tournament undefeated (5-0) and dropped only one set (vs. Moya). Federer also finished with a perfect 18-0 vs. top 10 players in 2004 (23-0 since Tennis Masters Cup 2003). In March of 2005, Federer will look to defend his title at the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells and claim his fifth ATP Masters Series shield.

Agassi, Ferrero Among Early Dubai Winners
First round action got under way at The Dubai Tennis Championships on Monday, and Andre Agassi was among the early winners as he downed Radek Stepanek 6-4, 7-5. Juan Carlos Ferrero also picked up a first round win, defeating Florian Mayer 6-3, 6-4.
Later on Monday, play will begin in Acapulco at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel. Two All-Argentine battles highlight Monday's schedule, as No. 3 seed Guillermo Canas faces Juan Monaco and No. 4 seed Juan Ignacio Chela battles Edgardo Massa.
