90th Anniversary Commemoration in Notre Dame Cathedral of Ottawa The Parish Council of Saint Mesrob Church of Ottawa, met with Bishop Galstanian on Saturday February 12, to coordinate preparations for the upcoming commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The Canadian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, in association with religious figures of many denominations and faiths, will commemorate this important anniversary by organizing ecumenical commemoration service in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. In Ottawa, the ecumenical service will be held in Notre Dame Roman Catholic Cathedral. Ottawa area church leaders interfaith representatives have been invited to participate in the ceremony with a prayer reading, which will also be included in the commemoration booklet. The head of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ottawa His Eminence Abp. Marcel Gervais, will deliver his message ion this occasion. The diplomatic corp. and official guests have also been invited.

Preparations to Commemorate the 90the Anniversary of Genocide in Toronto On Tuesday, February 17, 2005 Armenian Churches of Toronto held a meeting in the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 920 Progress Avenue in order to organize the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Around fifty members of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, St Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, St Gregory Armenian Catholic Church and the Armenian Evangelical Church attended the meeting in “Makaros Artinian” hall at 8:00pm. [attachmentid=13064] The meeting started with the word of gratitude by Mr. Hagop Djambazian towards the Holy Trinity Armenian Church and especially the Rev. Arch Fr. Zareh Zargarian for their hospitality. Afterward he invited Rev. Sarmazian to say the opening prayer. [attachmentid=13065] Following the opening prayer, Rev. Arch Fr. Zareh Zargarian welcomed everyone and thanked for their presence. Der Zareh presented the plans of this years’ commemoration day. Mr. Hagop Djambazian invited the Very Rev. Meghrig Barigian to have a speech and encourage the attendees. This meeting was to bring together the thoughts and to talk about them. Having agreed about the general scheme, the participants discussed in detail the program of the commemoration day. [attachmentid=13066] At the end, Rev. Arch. Fr. Zareh Zargarian said the closing prayer and invited partakers to enjoy the coffee, refreshments and to have the group picture.

Despite advanced age and frailty, some of the remaining Genocide survivors and their immediate family indicated their desire to participate and will be present if their health permits at this historic commemoration. Federal, provincial and municipal politicians, as well as representatives of foreign governments posted in Canada, have been invited to attend the service. In his own words, he has said "The massacre of Armenians in 1915 was a clear undisputed act of genocide. The ecumenical service in Ottawa is part of a Canada-wide commemoration campaign organized by the Canadian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in association with religious figures of many denominations and faiths. MONTREAL, Armenian Genocide Commemoration Service will be held in St Joseph Oratory On April 23, 2005, representatives of the city's various religious and ethnic communities will join the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Canada in a massive interfaith service to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, perpetrated by the Turkish Ottoman Empire during the First World War. The premeditated slaughter and mass deportations, which killed about 1.5 million Armenians and forced survivors into a continuing exile, started on April 24, 1915. The Martyr's Commemoration Ecumenical Service will be held at Montreal's St. Joseph Oratory at 7:30 p.m. The Archbishop of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Montreal His Eminence Jean Claude Cardinal Turcotte will be the keynote speaker. In addition to the multi-faith prayers, the commemoration service will feature performances of ancient Armenian ecclesiastical music of world famous Armenian Church hymns sung by the St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Cathedral Choir. This group consisting of 60 members will perform under the direction of Varujan Margaryan and will be accompanied by organist Arto Muhendissian. Despite advanced age and frailty, some of the remaining Genocide survivors and their immediate family are also expected to participate in this historic commemoration. Also, federal, provincial and municipal politicians, as well as representatives of foreign governments posted in Canada, have been invited to attend the service. In addition to the multi-faith prayers, the commemoration service will feature performances of ancient Armenian ecclesiastical music.

Вот что получилось.. давайте дальше! Как-то раз, ранним утром или поздней ночью JazzVaz-y стало голодно и он, одевшись в дамское, весьма элеганстное пальто, подошел к окну чтоб закрыть его...вдруг под окном он увидел Злую Мудрость, которая сидела на на холодном асвальте и держала в руках календарь. Календарь показывал двадцатое января. У вдруг его пpям осенило. что 20ое анваря - День памяти жертвам тоталитарного режима убитых в результате агрессии советских военных сил в азербайджане. И, JazzVaz подумал, что Злая Мудрость поменяла национальность...И побежал тогда Джаззи на чердак, достал топор, подошел к окну, и замахнулся что есть мочи .И вдруг Мудрость увидевь тапор в руках у Джжаззи хелагарватс начала грызть ногти ..и орать " Джазззззз , Джазззззз ~~~ хи менк форум ум ватенк егел? ", Джаззик словно не услышам этих слов кааак замахнулся тапором и как дал по башке подкрадывающемуся сзади к Злой Мудрости Атропату... Bнезапно открыв глаза JAZZ понял что всё это ему преснилось , и одевшись пошёл в кухню и стал делaть яишнецу с бастурмой . Оказалось, что бастурма закончилась. Он Решил пойти за ней в магазин, открыл шкаф, чтобы одеться, А ТУТ... то самое женское пальто! И здесь Jazz понял, что основной целью председателя правления акционеров пенсионного фонда "Старуха Извергиль и Ко" было вовсе не снижение затрат по статье "Протезы" а привлечение инвестиций для покупки пая попечительного фонда "Добрыня Никитич". Поэтому для начала он позвонил... Josefu Gabciku Каторий в это время уж протрезвел от вчерашней гулянки И сабирался на работу Више упамянутую Страхавую компанию когда Josef Gabcik поднял трубку, в эту минуту Джазза осенила, ведь это же......он принес женское пальто! "Хм, откуда женское пальто могло оказаться у Josefa?"-серьезно задумался Джазз,почесывая затылок. Bдруг в комнату вбежала Пинк_Арм, влепила пощечину Джаззи и резко отобрала Пальто... Но Джазз схватился обеими руками за пальто, с диким криком "Это мое!!!" (Видно с похмелья был не только Иосеф Габчик)..... И тут послышалось- вжжжжжжжж,вжжжж........... Двери слетают с петель, вравается Нвард с бензопилой в руках. "Ну что, бездельники не ждали!" и с криком- банзаааааааааай распиливает пальто на куски,при этом отпилив Пинк конечности, а Ваззику- нос.... -Эх,ужастиков Нвардик насмотрелась.Беда с вами...Полечу в Хор Вирап,что ли,-подумала Агавни,вылетая из форточки... Но этот прекрасный парень (который никто иной как нас милый Виген) не зал что продавец шаурмой, работал на Асала, и подсыпал в колу, которую взял себе Виген немного снотворного. Оказалось что усыпив его, Роберт отвез его на базу Асала в Сирии. Там Виген проснулся, и увидел что лежит весь голый а рядом обноженное тело Мисис Х - агенкти Асала. Она была столь прекрасна что Виг не смог поверить в произошедшее, и начал смутно припоминать событие прошлой бурной ночи...И посколькy во время событии происшедших ночю он был под воздейсвом снатворного, то подбросив многозначный взгляд на лежавшего рядом красавицу, подумал “А не взят и сделать то, что сделал бы ноч`ю объязательно, не будь под воздейством снатворного” Подумав так, он осторожно взял подушку и....и начал бить по лицу красавицы со словами: ну что, милашка? Признайся,что вы со мной сделали, и почему? Признайся,что вы со мной сделали, и почему? -- а она в ответ - ( у нее был черный пояс по карате ) - это ты прзнавайся , недоумок( сорри ) что ты сделал со мной, голова расскалывается, -- тааак, а ну как не надо мне на вопрос вопросом, как Иоська Габсик, ты что его сестра? --- ты тоже знаешь этого Йосбку???? -- я кажется начинаю понимать ... -- а я сразу думаю,что это мне ! он! да еще билеты по дешевке продает, да куда!!! - в самый прекрасный город на земле!!! ..... Виген и Милашка решили провести рейд местности. и уже были рады тому что вокруг слышна была армянская речь, а не ... . через 10 минут к ним вошел главнокомандующий местной группировкой АСАЛА, и сообщил что они отобраны для особого задания. - проникнуть в Москву, в московскую диаспору и выведать кое какие сведения. и так Виген и милашка отправились в Москву... а тем временем , самый прекрасный город на земле поднял пол самой прекрасной сраны на уши - --- где милашка?????????????????И так результат - оторванные конечности прекрасной Пинки,Джазз без носа и Нвард без глаз. Все участники этой нелепой трагедии лежали на полу корчась от боли... В комнату вошли врачи Аблертус и Дина. Ну что скажете коллега? - обратился к Диночке, анархо-пофигист и по совместительсву доктор Аблертус. Ну, тут налицо факт взаимного членовредительства,вызванный скорее всего неадекватной реакцией Нвард,заставшей Пинки и Джаззика вместе в одной комнате. Ответила Диночка,кокетливо покручивая локон своих пушистых волос..... и тут ...... раздался телефонный звонок! ........ Дина бросилась на шею Албертусу, настолко неожиданным и ... тсрашным был звонок у ДЖазза! ... брать .... или н ебрать трубку....????? этот вопрос мучал Албертуса .. цеееелых 10 минут, ...... иииии ... А потом, откуда-то не возмись, появился Николая с криками: хееееееей, все же позовем вас на небо Ситуация была двусмысленная. Что бы это значило, этот крик в сторону Анкары.... Но не успели они сделать свое дело, как пришел Армен и похитив Руну и Гаечку, застрелил Шалапуньку Умирая, Шалапунька повернула голову, в сторону Армена, Николая, Гаечки и Руны, испустила последний вздох сказав: "И ты Брут"...Никто так и не узнал, кому были адресованы слова Шалапуньки...
