I think that the guys wouldn't be as sensitive to this issue, had the term metrosexual been free of the "sexual" part. They would probably argue about what's appropriate and what's not, but wouldn't be as defensive. Why is this word "metrosexual" anyway? In my opinion it's kind of misleading.

Я очень люблю New York, побывала во многих городах Америки. Еще нравятся Сан Франциско и Монреаль (Канада). Но Нью Йорк есть Нью Йорк. Даже плохое в нем мне нравится. Часто брожу бесцельно по улицам и теряюсь, растворяясь в этом сумашедщем шуме, трафике, полнейшем хаосе. А по воскресеньям, когда он спокойный, дремлет весь день и готовится к трудной неделе, люблю гулять в Little Italy или SoHo , ну это словами не передать.
