Hi again, Hope you can help me once more.. I'm having trouble with the red bit here: Ախ, ինչքան նոր Անդոներ կան այս թուխ պատանիների մեջ, որոնք հին քարափի գլխին, իբրև անգիր զրույց, թերթում են սկզբի լույս էջերը: I don't understand how the red bit fits into the rest of the sentence. Is there any way to paraphrase it? What does "ibrev" mean here? Also, another question, which is related more to publishing in (Soviet) Armenia than language: why are there significantly different versions of the same text published in Armenia? The text on the internet is quite different from the text I have in my book. There are parts on the internet that are missing in my book and parts in my book that are missing on the internet. Is this normal? And which text should I trust to be the closest to the "original" (I understand that authors correct themselves all the time, but there must be a first and final version at some point)?

A few more: 1) The red bits: Վերին գյուղում ուսուցիչն ասում է, որ պատերազմը շուտով կվերջանա, և պիտի լինի «ահեղ հեղափոխություն», որ անտառում երկու զինված մարդ հարձակվել են փոստի վրա, սպանել են ստրաժնիկին, փոստը կտրել... I understand "post" to mean "mail," but it doesn't make much sense to me in this context. Was the mail attacked, or the mailman? 2) —Անդո, ուզում ես սովորե՞ս... —Իմ սովորելը վերջացա՜վ... Ապերը հրեն հիվանդ... The red bit makes no sense to me. 3) մոնտյոր -- Հրես մոնտյորից թե կարողացա մի բան սովորեմ... Mechanic? From French, monteur? Thanks!!
